Water clan symbols of clouds and rain commemorate the prehistoric villages of the Anasazi and the web of trails that connected them. Mesa Verde...Chaco Canyon...Pottery Mound...Chaco Trail. The Chaco Trail blanket symbolizes the ancient vital web of trails that connects these early centers. The prehistoric metropolis that was Chaco Trail is commemorated with a design that invokes ancient water clan symbols of clouds and rain building, falling in a perpetual dance. Water was the sustenance of the region. Designed by Native American artist Ramona Sakiestewa. Made exclusively for Dewey Trading Company by Pendleton Woolen Mills. 82% pure virgin wool/ 18% cotton.
