Nazca (or Nasca) bird pottery bowls are polychrome ceramic vessels from the ancient Nazca culture of Peru’s south coast (roughly 100 BCE–800 CE). They feature vibrant slip-painted designs of birds—both naturalistic (such as hummingbirds) and mythical or stylized forms—often linked to themes of fertility, agriculture, water, warfare, and ritual.
