Tab bags (also called tabbed bags or beaded tab pouches) Small bags or cases (e.g., for tobacco, awls, strike-a-lights, or personal items) featuring a prominent beaded tab at the bottom or sides. The tab is typically fully or partially covered in geometric or floral beadwork and may include fringe, tin cones, or other accents. Examples include Ute beaded tab bags, Southern Arapaho tab tobacco bags, and general Plains tab bags.
