The eagle is a powerful symbol in many Indigenous cultures, representing strength, vision, courage, and spiritual connection. While eagle motifs appear more commonly in pictorial beadwork on bags or medallions from the Plateau area (and are widespread in Native-inspired modern pieces), they feature prominently in hand-beaded necklaces, often as a central medallion or woven panel.

These pieces often use techniques like loom beading or peyote stitch for the woven effect, incorporating high-quality Czech or seed beads. Modern versions pay homage to traditional artistry while serving as stunning statement jewelry.
