Salado pottery is a distinctive prehistoric ceramic tradition associated with the  Salado culture (or Salado phenomenon) in the American Southwest, particularly in central and southern Arizona, with influence extending into parts of New Mexico and northern Mexico. It dates primarily to the Classic period, roughly A.D. 1275-1450, and is best known as Salado Polychrome (also called Roosevelt Red Ware).
