A Pueblo pottery canteen by "R. England" is a specific artisan or seller, but Pueblo canteens are traditional Native American water vessels known for their distinctive shapes (often with handles and a stopper hole), designs (geometric, animal, symbolic), and connection to Pueblo culture (Zuni, Acoma, Cochiti, etc.), with pieces varying greatly in age, style (from very old historic to modern), and maker, often signed with initials or names, like R. England, reflecting individual potter's work and stories.

We can not identify maker. Contemporary works like this are often made at Jemez and Acoma pueblos and there is also a non Native makes of contemporary works like this.
