Cleo Teissedre (Cleo M. Eyre Teissedre, 1930–2020) created handcrafted ceramic “Storyteller” pottery dolls/figurines inspired by Southwestern and Native American traditions. These are not traditional Pueblo pottery but commercial folk-art pieces made in Tucson, Arizona, primarily in the 1980s–1990s. They were produced under Teissedre Designs (which also made decorative tiles starting around 1979–1981).
