Hand Carved Canoe with Figure in Cloth Clothing
In Very Good Condition
An antique or vintage artifact depicting a small wooden canoe containing a single cloth-wrapped doll or figurine lying supine inside it. The canoe is roughly carved from wood with visible wear, chipping paint (originally dark, perhaps black or deep brown), and signs of age-related patina. The doll is made of burlap-like coarse fabric, stuffed and sewn, with articulated limbs (wooden or stuffed arms and legs), a simple wrapped head suggesting a face, and loose threads indicating handmade construction and deterioration over time.
