San Felipe Pueblo (Katishtya) has a limited historical pottery tradition compared to some neighbors. Residents often obtained pottery through trade (notably with Zia). Pottery-making revived more recently, with many active potters self-taught or learning off-pueblo. Storyteller and figurative work is less common there than at Cochiti or Jemez.
