Patty Padilla is a contemporary potter from Santa Clara Pueblo, often collaborating with her husband, Tony Padilla, a fellow artist from the same community. Together, they create pieces that blend traditional techniques with innovative forms, maintaining the pueblo's signature blackware style while incorporating natural and cultural motifs. Their work emphasizes deep engravings, polished surfaces, and symbolic imagery drawn from Pueblo heritage. Patty's pieces are celebrated for their craftsmanship and are available through Native American art galleries and markets like the Santa Fe Indian Market.
