Margaret Naranjo (sometimes signed as "Margaret N.") is a lesser-documented but respected potter from the Naranjo family, one of Santa Clara's most prominent pottery lineages. The Naranjo name is synonymous with excellence—related artists include Geri Naranjo (b. 1952, known for carved miniatures), Kevin Naranjo (sgraffito specialist), and Maria I. Naranjo (1924–2006, innovator of blackware nativity scenes). Margaret's work, like much of Santa Clara pottery, emphasizes hand-built forms with natural imperfections that add character. Her pieces are signed simply, such as "Margaret N. Sta Clara," and often feature animal figures rather than vessels, though pots are within the family's repertoire.
