Harrison Begay Jr. (also known as Harrison Begay, Jr.) and Marie Begay (his wife, from Santa Clara Pueblo). Harrison Begay Jr. is a well-known Native American potter who blends Santa Clara Pueblo traditions (learned from his mother-in-law) with influences from Navajo designs and prehistoric petroglyphs. He specializes in deep-carved blackware pottery (often highly polished), frequently incorporating inset stones like turquoise and coral for accents.

A house design (a common motif in some Pueblo pottery, representing homes, pueblos, or symbolic structures, often in carved relief).
