Julian Coriz is a contemporary potter from Santo Domingo Pueblo (also known as Kewa Pueblo) in New Mexico. He creates traditional handmade pottery using natural clay and methods passed down through generations, often featuring geometric designs, feathers, tulips, or other classic motifs in black, red, and sometimes green or polychrome colors. His work includes bowls, plates, ollas (jars), micaceous pieces (with sparkling mica in the clay), and other forms.

An "egg seed pot" (or egg-shaped seed pot) is a specific style of Pueblo pottery: a rounded, egg-like or spherical seed jar with a small opening at the top, designed historically to store seeds while minimizing exposure. These are common in Southwestern Native American pottery traditions, including at Santo Domingo/Kewa, where potters produce both traditional and contemporary variations.
