Calvin was born in 1958 and is from Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM. He learned to make jewelry from his parents. He creates traditional and contemporary heishi jewelry using natural stones and seashells. All of his jewelry is prayed on to keep people safe and give them happiness. He finishes off his pieces with a polish that takes time to make it smooth and beautiful.
