Hilda Tenorio (known later as Hilda Coriz, 1949–2007) was a prominent artist from the Santo Domingo Pueblo (Kewa) in New Mexico. She is renowned for her hand-coiled, traditional polychrome pottery, often created in collaboration with her husband, Arthur Coriz. Hilda belonged to a distinguished family of potters and she was the sister of the award-winning master potter Robert Tenorio, who encouraged her to begin working with clay in the 1980s. Hilda and Arthur worked as a team for many years. Typically, Hilda would form the clay vessels using traditional hand-coiling methods, while Arthur would handle the intricate painting and design. Together, they were regular participants in the Santa Fe Indian Market, where they earned numerous awards between 1983 and 1998. After Arthur's passing in 1998, Hilda continued to make pottery on her own until her death in 2007. Their daughter, Ione Coriz, continues the family's pottery tradition today.
