Siletz with Dyed Overlay Basket Bowl is a traditional woven basket (often bowl-shaped) made by members of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians in Oregon. Siletz basketry is a living cultural tradition rooted in the coastal and inland forests of western Oregon. These baskets use twining techniques with natural materials and feature decorative overlays for patterns and colors.
