These items were purchased from Fred Harvey outpost by my grandparents during a family excursion, Feb. 21 through March, 1910, to Arizona (ending in California). My grandparents accompanied a party of more than a dozen other adults (friends), some with children (about a half dozen). My father was one, age 6. It was through him that these items came to me shortly after my husband and I moved to the West coast in the 70’s, where they have been in a storage trunk since then. JLI, Washington January 17, 2026
