Prehistoric Salado pottery, predominantly known as Roosevelt Red Ware or Salado Polychrome, was crafted in the ancient American Southwest (c. 1275–1450 CE). Emerging from the Tonto Basin of central Arizona, this distinctive tradition blended Ancestral Puebloan, Mogollon, and Hohokam influences into an iconic, widely traded style.
