Southwest Papago (Tohono O’odham) storage jars are traditional containers made by the Tohono O’odham people (formerly called Papago) of southern Arizona and northern Sonora, Mexico. They include both pottery ollas (large jars) and coiled basketry jars, used for storing food (like grains or seeds), water, or other goods in the arid desert environment.
