Of fine wool and very tight weave. Large cloud and prayer feathers motif with serrated lighting and rain motifs.

Ganado, Arizona, is one of the most iconic centers for Navajo (Diné) weaving, particularly known for large-format rugs in the classic Ganado Red regional style. Very large rugs (often room-sized or bigger) were woven there, especially in the late 19th to mid-20th century, frequently at or for the Hubbell Trading Post (established 1878 by Juan Lorenzo Hubbell).
