Western Apache baskets are among the most admired forms of Southwestern Native American (American Indian) basketry, renowned for their tight coiling, intricate designs, and craftsmanship.

The Western Apache (including groups like the San Carlos, White Mountain, Cibecue, and Tonto) traditionally lived in Arizona. Apache women primarily created these baskets for utilitarian purposes—such as storage, food preparation, carrying loads, and winnowing—while later producing them for trade and collectors.
