Elsie Chanar, a Yup'ik basket maker from Toksook Bay, Alaska. Vintage coiled grass baskets attributed to her (with lids and colorful dyed patterns) have appeared in sales, such as on eBay. These are typically small-to-medium lidded pieces in excellent condition with tight weaving, geometric designs, and origins noted as Toksook Bay.
