Close Twined forming a rounded, conical shape about 3–4 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. Designs divide into three zones: a banded rim (top), central motif area, and solid base, separated by horizontal bands or wrapped twining.

Yurok hat basketry refers to the finely woven headwear traditionally created and worn by Yurok women, an Indigenous people of the Klamath River region in northwestern California. These hats, often called "basketry caps," blend functionality with artistry, serving as everyday head coverings while showcasing intricate designs that reflect cultural identity, skill, and connection to the land. They are part of a broader basketry tradition shared with neighboring tribes like the Hupa and Karuk, but Yurok examples are renowned for their precision and subtle elegance.
