Frank Nieto is a Zuni Pueblo fetish carver (from Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico), known for animal carvings such as snakes, lizards, frogs, eagles, bears, and similar pieces, often in materials like apple coral, argite, alabaster, or with turquoise inlays. He learned from his father Vern Nieto and works alongside his brother Travis Nieto (who also carves fetishes, including turtles).
