Vera Luna (1930–1982) was a noted Zuni Pueblo silversmith and lapidary from Zuni, New Mexico, known for her mosaic channel inlay jewelry. She began producing around 1970 and specialized in kachinas (katsinas) and Gan (Apache Mountain Spirit/Crown) dancers. Her work typically uses materials such as turquoise, coral, jet, mother-of-pearl, and shell set in silver, often hallmarked “VL” or “V. Luna.” She was related to other Luna family artists (grand-niece of Latalio Luna and connected to Isia Luna, Belle Luna, and others) and is regarded as one of the strong Zuni inlay artists of her era.
