Zuni Pueblo bolo ties are exquisite examples of Native American jewelry from the Zuni people, an indigenous tribe located in western New Mexico. The Zuni are renowned for their exceptional lapidary skills, particularly in creating intricate channel inlay designs—where precisely cut stones, shells, and other materials are fitted together like a mosaic within silver frameworks. Bolo ties (also spelled "bola" ties), a Western neckwear staple featuring a decorative tip connected by a braided cord, have been elevated to high art by Zuni artisans since the mid-20th century.
