Zuni Pueblo fetishes are small, hand-carved animal figures traditionally made by artisans from the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. These carvings, often from stone, represent animals believed to embody spiritual powers, aiding in healing, protection, and connecting with nature's traits.

Buffalo (American bison) did not naturally range as far south as Zuni territory, Zuni people historically traveled north to hunt them for hides, horns, and meat. Today, the buffalo's strength and iconic status inspire many Zuni carvers.
