Alan Lewis (also known as Allen Lynn Lewis) is a talented Zuni Pueblo folk artist renowned for his hand-carved cottonwood figures. He specializes in elegant, flowing carvings of Olla Maidens (corn maidens or women carrying water jars), Blue Corn Maidens, mother-and-child figures, animals like crows, pueblo villages, and other traditional Zuni motifs. His work often features smooth shapes, burned-in ornamentation, and signatures like "A.L. Zuni."
