Fabian Tsethlikai (often signed as F. Tsethlikai) is a respected contemporary Zuni Pueblo fetish carver known for his detailed animal figures, including deer, roadrunners, rams, bears, mountain lions, ponies, turtles, lizards, and badgers.
Zuni fetishes are small carvings, traditionally from stone (like serpentine, marble, dolomite, or gypsum), that embody the spirit and qualities of the animal. They serve spiritual or protective purposes in Zuni culture and have become popular collectibles.
