Hand Carved from a Tan Marbled Stone pf Two Bear Hugging with Four Turquoise Eyes Signed F.K Zuni

In Very Good Condition

Fitz Kiyite is a documented Zuni fetish carver whose work includes single bears (e.g., Silverado jet with turquoise), directional/six-directions sets (often featuring a badger base), multi-animal pieces, fish (such as abalone rainbow salmon), and creative subjects like dinosaurs. His pieces appear in gallery sales, eBay listings, WorthPoint auction records, and museum-related collections. A closely matching example sold through Grey Dog Trading was described as a textured Picasso marble “bear mates” fetish (approximately 2¼″ high × 2½″ long × 1¼″ wide), with the two bears holding a carved heart—explicitly noted as suitable as an unusual engagement or love-themed gift.
