Zuni Pueblo turtle fetishes by Joel Nastacio (often misspelled “Nestacio”) are authentic hand-carved stone animal figures from Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico.  Joel Nastacio is a contemporary Zuni fetish carver whose work appears in specialized Native American galleries and shops (such as Zuni Fetish Gallery, Keshi, and others). His pieces include turtles and other animals, frequently carved from materials like black marble, Picasso marble, or onyx, often with turquoise accents for eyes or inlay.
