Lonewolf, Gregory

Gregory Lonewolf is a Santa Clara Pueblo artist active from 1970 to the present, specializing in etched glass, sgraffito seed pots, and miniatures. He comes from a renowned family of artists—he is the son of Joseph Lonewolf, grandson of Camilio Tafoya, and nephew of Grace Medicine Flower. Although initially pursuing other career paths, he was inspired by working in a frame shop and learned various traditional and modern techniques from multiple family members, considering his father his primary mentor.
